Here at Rippling, we build and ship at lightning speed. Read on to see all the updates we shipped this month to help free you to work on hard problems and achieve your business goals.

We’re introducing modern and intelligent scheduling

Make smarter scheduling decisions, faster

Scheduling lets you customize schedules based on demand, employee certifications, and hundreds of other data points to best serve your customers—and your bottom line. Keep your team on track with customizable rules and alerts, and satisfied with flexible scheduling. You can even stop overpaying for unnecessary shifts and overtime, all while protecting your business from compliance risks.

We’re continuing to lead HCMs in usability

Undo common mistakes when updating employee records

You’re no longer stuck with incorrect changes applied to an employee’s record. Now, you can easily undo changes in chronological order and apply the correct change if needed—ensuring you always have an accurate employee history.

Streamline time tracking with auto-generated timesheets

Admins can now automatically generate time cards complete with customizable start times and hours for employees with consistent schedules—eliminating the need to clock in or out unless their regular schedule changes with overtime or extra shifts.

Draft department changes in bulk

Managing departments just got a whole lot easier. Now, you can create a draft of all department changes at once rather than making updates one by one. And with company level drafting, you can allow multiple collaborators on department changes to ensure seamless updates to employee profiles and downstream dependencies.

Uncover insights with headcount planning analytics

Our new embedded analytics overview page is live in Headcount Planning. Now, you can dig into headcount data by position type, level, and time, and apply filters by department and location—reducing spreadsheet work and streamlining common visualizations.

Catch errors in employee break reporting

We’ve improved the break survey experience to more clearly highlight which breaks are missing. Now, Rippling allows employees to manually enter the correct break details. Plus, Rippling validates these entries for compliance with break policies.

Track compensation plans with weekly snapshots

You can now easily access, track, and review changes to compensation plans with automatic weekly plan snapshots. You also have the option to take manual snapshots during periods of frequent change, enabling greater control in managing compensation strategies.

Enhance review cycles with index scores

You can now combine any rating included in their review cycles into a customizable weighted index score. These aggregated scores automatically populate in calibration worksheets for all applicable employees, facilitating discussions and enhancing overall review cycle outcomes.

RSVP: Rippling x Carta compensation planning webinar

We’re making global payroll even simpler across countries

We’re always expanding the coverage of Rippling for your international teams. Last month we launched:

  • EOR in Malaysia
  • EOR in Pakistan

Automate retroactive payroll calculations

You no longer need to manually calculate the retroactive pay adjustment when you make a backdated salary change. Now, Rippling will automatically calculate the retroactive pay difference for you to include in the next regular, off-cycle, or correction pay run.

Use Supergroups to automate recurring earnings

You can now use policies to set up recurring earnings rules for Supergroups. In just a few clicks, you can ensure every remote hire receives a set home office stipend, all full-time employees receive a monthly wellness stipend, and more. Once applied, you’ll see the amount automatically included for eligible employees in each pay run.

We’re enhancing the IT experience

Introducing the Rippling x Microsoft Active Directory integration

Rippling has expanded our Microsoft partnership to seamlessly sync our HRIS with hybrid Active Directory (AD) instances. This integration streamlines user lifecycle management by automatically creating or suspending AD accounts when employees are onboarded or offboarded in Rippling. Changes to employee attributes like name or title in Rippling will flow downstream to AD, keeping your IT and HR sources of truth in sync.

We’re giving you more control over spend

Locally issue corporate cards in Canada

Canadian employers can now provide locally-issued cards for Canadian employees. Whether you have an HQ or subsidiary in Canada, you can avoid foreign exchange fees on in-country transactions and pay in the local currency, streamlining spending and reporting.

Gain greater visibility into company spend

We've added new details like “transaction ID”, “transaction state”, card name, and more to provide greater visibility without needing to open detailed views. Admins can now filter transactions by approved date and category, and we've enabled search functionality in the mappings section for easier navigation.
