Recipe Overview

If an employee uses a compromised password (i.e. a password that’s been stolen or leaked online by hackers) to access apps or software linked to your company, it poses a significant security risk to your organisation, and the private, sensitive data you may hold.

That’s why it’s important that when such a situation arises, a company be able to take quick action to minimise the threat, even if there appears to have been no discernible harm or breach.

With this Recipe, you’ll be able to take almost immediate action on the main source of your breach. When an employee’s password is identified as being compromised, Rippling will automatically send a notification to the employee and their manager, alerting them to the situation and prompting the employee to change their password.

Want to add a Task to your alert? As with all our workflow Recipes, you can customise this template to your exact needs, including when it should trigger, what the actions should be, who it should go to, and more.
